Teaching the Robot Your Brand Bible
What is it?
A system to ensure that no matter who on your team uses AI (or which tool they use), the output sounds like your brand. It involves creating a central library of 'proven prompts' and a digital style guide that the AI can reference. Why is it important?
Without this, your Instagram captions might sound like a Gen-Z influencer while your emails sound like a corporate lawyer. Inconsistency kills trust. You need a single source of truth. How to Build It:
- The 'Brand Voice' Prompt: Write a master paragraph defining your tone. 'We are helpful, witty, but never silly. We use short sentences. We avoid jargon.' Paste this at the start of every new chat session.
- The Prompt Library: Create a shared document with fill-in-the-blank templates. e.g., 'Product Description Prompt: [Insert Specs Here]. Tone: [Insert Voice Prompt]. Goal: Drive sales for [Target Audience].'
Beginner Tip
Test your prompts. If a prompt gives you a bad result twice in a row, rewrite it. Don't blame the AI; refine the instructions.
