Adding Your Logo and Favicon
What are they? These are foundational elements of your brand's visual identity on your website.
- Logo: Your primary brand mark, displayed prominently in your store's header.
- Favicon: The small, square version of your logo that appears in the browser tab, bookmarks, and search results.
Why are they important? A professional logo builds brand recognition. A favicon makes your site look complete and legitimate, helping it stand out in a sea of browser tabs.
How to Add Them:
- In the theme editor, click the 'Theme settings' gear icon in the bottom-left corner.
- Select the Logo section.
- Upload Logo: Click 'Select image' to upload your primary logo file. A high-resolution PNG with a transparent background is usually best.
- Upload Favicon: In the same section, you'll see an area to upload your favicon. This should be a simple, square image (e.g., 32x32 pixels) that is recognizable even when small.
